QUALIFICATIONS

Overview

Ms Stephanie Glover is an Australian podiatrist living in Singapore with 12 years of experience in the private sector. She graduated with honours in Health Science (Podiatry) from Queensland University of Technology, Australia in 2011. She spent the first few years of her career honing skills in general practice with a particular interest in biomechanics and orthotic prescription. In 2020, Stephanie relocated to Singapore with her young family. She began working in private practice, which exposed her to a wide range of treatment modalities, including extracorporeal shockwave therapy. Stephanie finds most aspects of podiatric practice incredibly rewarding, with a particular interest in paediatrics and biomechanics.

As a mother of two active young boys, Stephanie is particularly comfortable addressing paediatric concerns. She is acutely aware of the importance of mobility and functional development in the early years and the impact this can have on a child’s physical, social and emotional wellbeing.

In addition to private clinical practice, Stephanie has six years of clinical practice in Australia’s residential aged-care sector. She is skilled in the conservative management of general lower limb conditions in an older demographic (such as nail and callous care) and managing conditions such as osteoarthritis, which can lead to inactivity in this population. Stephanie is passionate about helping her older patients stay active and pain-free so they can continue to lead rich and fulfilling lives.

Background

Ms Stephanie Glover knew from a very young age that she would have a career in healthcare. She was drawn to the variety of scope that a career in Podiatry would provide and has not looked back since commencing her studies many years ago. Throughout her career, Stephanie has enjoyed meeting and helping many patients with their lower limb concerns.

She is fortunate to have the opportunity to practice podiatry outside of Australia and bring her skills and passion in this field to Singapore and its people. She has enjoyed getting to know her local and international patients and learning about Singapore’s rich local culture and history.

When not running around after her two young boys, Stephanie enjoys running and cycling along Singapore’s many beautiful tracks to keep active.
