Straits Physiotherapy provides professional physiotherapy services in Singapore, focusing on pain management, injury rehabilitation, and movement optimisation. Our physiotherapy care is personalised, evidence-based, and designed to support long-term recovery — not just short-term relief.
We work closely with Podiatrists at Straits Podiatry to offer an integrated lower-limb and movement-focused approach where appropriate.
With clear communication and evidence-based approaches at the core of what we do, our team of skilled podiatrists work to relieve pain, restore comfort, and help you regain the confidence to stay active.
Why Choose Straits Physiotherapy?
Straits Physiotherapy is built on the belief that good physiotherapy starts with understanding how your body moves — and why pain or injury developed in the first place.
Our approach focuses on:
Careful assessment of movement, strength, and control
Individualised rehabilitation plan
Clear explanation so you understand your condition and recovery process
- Optimising your recovery journey through Pilates rehabilitation
We support patients across different stages — from acute pain and injury to post-rehabilitation and movement optimisation.

Physiotherapy & Podiatry — A Collaborative Approach
At Straits Physiotherapy, we work closely alongside Straits Podiatry to support patients where foot biomechanics, lower-limb function, or walking patterns may influence recovery.
This collaborative approach can be beneficial for:
Lower-limb injuries that are not improving with a strengthening regimen
Postural or movement-related issues arising from the foot and ankle
Complex conditions requiring custom-made orthotic devices to continue effective rehabilitation (e.g. Foot drop, ankle sprain)
Referrals are guided by clinical assessment and patient needs.

Common questions
Frequently asked questions about our physiotherapy clinic
Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist in Singapore?
No referral is required. You can book directly with our physiotherapist.
However, if you do have a referral letter, please bring along to your appointment. It will allow our physiotherapy to better understand your concern during the visit.
How long is a physiotherapy session?
Our physiotherapy appointment typically last between 45 to 60mins, depending on the presenting concern and treatment required.
Is physiotherapy suitable if my pain is not severe?
The ideal approach is to seek physiotherapy early to address any movement issues and prevent symptoms from worsening. Early rehabilitation often leads to faster and better outcomes.
What should I bring for my first physiotherapy consultation?
You should bring along any reports pertaining to your presenting concern, which could be any imaging scan results, or any referral letter or memo from your specialist. This will allow our physiotherapist to understand your overall health when addressing your concerns.
Do you accept insurance or company medical benefits?
Coverage usually depends on your insurer and policy. While most insurance policies do cover physiotherapy services, we are unable to guarantee your coverage. We strongly advise that you speak with your insurance provider to better understand your coverage.
Do your physiotherapist see children?
Yes, our physiotherapist provides guidance and rehabilitation for children. Kids can highly benefit from clinical pilates, as the exercise is lower-impact and is safe for their age.
